As 2020 has come to an end I can only think to say good riddance.
I looked up good riddance to see exactly the meaning…”said to express the relief of being free of a troublesome or unwanted person or thing”
I am indeed relieved of being free of the troublesome year 2020
As the year 2020 was certainly interesting, overwhelming, frustrating, sucky (is that a word?) – chose your favorite description, it can also help us in a few things.
one thought would be life experience. I have never personally been through a world wide pandemic – and now I have. So, put that on your life experiences list.
another thought – as we were all quarantined and sometimes forced to stay at home, did life slow down a little bit? I had the chance to spend a lot of time with my wife and kids. That was a good thing.
lastly as I don’t to bloviate (looked this one up too – the speak or write verbosely and windily) I think we can all try to set some goals and shift our mindset as we begin 2021. Count your blessings, make each day count, spend time doing the important things. Take up a new hobby. Be kind to each other…
in the comments section – how will 2021 be different for you?
I had the chance to close out 2020 yesterday on a waterfowl hunt with two hunting buddies and my two boys. I’m attaching a few pictures of some late season hunts.
thanks so much for reading my blog and for your support and feedback.
